Exciting news from WeFiFo HQ

WeFiFo is a young business, just entering its second year. The WeFiFo community is steadily growing, one host, one guest and one meal at a time and we’re still so thrilled every time an event takes place and our community come together to share food.

As a new business, it’s always exciting when you’re acknowledged by more established brands. Excited (& more!) is exactly how we felt when we were approached by L Marks, who were working with the John Lewis Partnership on a business accelerator programme.

L Marks suggested we apply for the JLAB programme, which is 12 weeks working with the John Lewis and Waitrose teams in their head offices. If we were successful, it would mean access to mentorship, industry insight and possible collaborations with the partnership.

Over 300 food, tech and retail start-ups applied to take part in JLAB 2017 and after a two pitch & presentation process – 5 were selected.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that WeFiFo was one of those start-ups! We’re in JLAB 2017!

For the last few weeks, and until the end of September, we are working closely with the L Marks, John Lewis and Waitrose teams in London, Bracknell and at our HQ in Sussex.

We can’t wait to see where the JLAB takes us – and how WeFiFo can work with John Lewis and Waitrose going forward. We’ll share updates with you throughout the next 8 weeks, so keep your eyes peeled!
